Can You Hear Me? was birthed from a study completed by Dr. Heather Henley; designed to examine how music therapy affects behaviors of inmates in a manimum-security facility.

The rehabilitation treatment in maximum security prisons has not provided any long-term effects on emotions, behavior and mental health of inmates. The scope of this attention has extended to examine the link between music, religion, cognition and emotion.
